For over fifteen years, Badu-Schandorf Foundation — owned and principally funded by the Badu-Schandorf Family Trust — has worked at the intersection of generosity and justice, building programs that honor human dignity and create pathways to lasting change.
How We Began
Badu-Schandorf Foundation was founded on a simple but powerful conviction: that every community, regardless of geography or circumstance, holds the seeds of its own transformation. What it needs is the right support to let those seeds grow.
Our founders brought together decades of experience in international development, community organizing, and philanthropic strategy to build an organization that listens first and acts with intention. From our earliest programs to our current initiatives, that founding spirit has never wavered.
Today, we operate across multiple regions, partnering with local leaders, NGOs, and governments to design and fund programs that are sustainable, culturally grounded, and measurably impactful.
The Badu-Schandorf Foundation is owned and stewarded by the Badu-Schandorf family, with the majority of its funding drawn from the family's private trust. This family-led model ensures that our philanthropic mission remains independent, values-driven, and free from the pressures of external agendas — allowing us to take the long view on the communities we serve.
